HOW TO INSTALL PHOTOSHOP PATTERNS

The instructions to install a Photoshop pattern is given below:

1.Download a photoshop pattern and if it is a .zip file then unzip it.

2.Go to My Computer > C > Program files > Adobe > Adobe Photoshop CS3 > Presets > Patterns and paste the .pat files into the “Patterns” folder.

3.Now you will have to close and restart Photoshop and then find and select the “Paint Bucket Tool” as outlined in the diagram below.

4.Go to option palette (below the Photoshop toolbar) and change “Foreground” to “Pattern”.

5.Open “Pattern Picker” window and click on the small arrow on the top right corner of the window.

6.Then a floating window will appear with the list of existing patterns available and some other options to manage patterns.

7.Now you will have to choose “Load Patterns” from the list.

8.Browse the new .pat (photoshop pattern file) from your computer and select the file you want to load.

9.Now it is ready for use.
