A German court ruled in favour of Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia on Tuesday, saying some devices made by Taiwan's HTC infringed on its power-saving patent. The case was one of 22 infringement suits Nokia has brought against HTC in Germany, a major battleground in the global patent war between makers of mobile phones, tablet computer devices and their operating software. "Nokia is pleased with this decision, which confirms the quality of Nokia's patent portfolio," Nokia said in an e-mailed statement. The power-saving patent refers to a technology for saving battery power while connected to a network.

Nokia 808 Pure View Smartphone with 41 Megapixels Camera
Following close on the heels of the ‘price leak’ of the
upcoming Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia has mentioned that the reports are false and
that price is actually a dummy price and not the actual price of the phone. As
reported, a spokesperson mentioned that, "We outsource certain chores, and
for that we have to give price related information. So, in such cases, we
furnish a dummy price, and not the actual (true) price. In this case also (the
one mentioned in the source code), Rs 29,999 is a dummy price and the 808
Pureview will not be available for this price," However, the spokesperson
refused to divulge the actual price of the upcoming 41 megapixel monster of a
phone by Nokia. We also did a hands-on with the Nokia 808 PureView, so be sure
